New Movie

Let me preface this post to say that I am an avid movie person, which is good since I am a media major in college. Anyway, I am really excited about the new Star Trek movie that is coming out this summer. I have a link below to the trailer, check it out!

Trying to Blog…..

I have not been the most frequent writer on this thing, mainly because other things seem to take up my day. These last couple weeks have been a blur, but it is nice to know that this semester is almost done. We started some basic studio work today and it was great. I am almost done with Rob Bell’s “Jesus wants to save christians”, it is a great read and I highly recommend it! Well my media class is about to begin, so I guess i’ll have to continue this later. Recent Reading

To say that the last month has been a blur would be an understatement. This new semester has been quite interesting, I have at least learned some useful information this month. I just finished reading Blue Like Jazz, Crazy Love, and Pop goes the Church. All of which i would highly recommend, for different reasons of course.  If you want a genuine look into someones heart and soul i would read Blue like Jazz. If you are interested in how to reach a lost culture for Christ in a relevant way i would recommend Pop goes the Church. Crazy Love is a thought provoking look into what it really means to be an authentic Christian. So before i ramble on too much more i will end this post. I’ll try to be better about posting more regularly.

Welcome to my Blog!

That’s right, I have succumbed to the web 2.0 experience and I am starting a blog. I have been reading blogs for quite sometime now and find them extremely insightful and fun to read. It’s amazing how our everyday experiences can be so uplifting. So I have moved to this new town about 7 months ago for finishing up college. I have slowly made new friends and this summer found an amazing community of people at a local Presbyterian church. I try to be authentic with God, others and myself. Hence the I am third name of this blog. I learned that statement many years ago and have tried my best to live that statement. Anyway, before I ramble for much longer I suppose I will go to bed.  I also will apologize in advance for any random thoughts that will eventually show up on here.
